Nipples On the Runway – NSFW?

While living in Minneapolis a few years ago I found myself deep in prudish conversation about nudity on the runway. A naked model might not be your thing, but it certainly isn’t pornography. The conversation was actually about a sheer blouse with no bra – which I personally find tres chic. Even if the owner has big old floppy tittays breasts, the boldness is so strong that it becomes attractive when the person wears it confidently.

While neon platform booties will certainly (please please please, sooner than later) go out of style, pink nipples never will.

This sort of look is very ethereal, albeit not for everyday wear.  Actually… I’m not really sure where this would make sense, but it certainly isn’t offensive (maybe that hat).

These latex donned breasts by Atsuko Kudo are so sexy. This is an unusual way to showcase the ‘fabric’, a lot more interesting than a fully covered generic dominatrix dress being seen on runways since the 80s.

This is more along the lines of what I like to see. It’s the ultimate form of feminine clothing. Will a 12 year old boy point and giggle? Yes. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t beauty in the entire look.

Do you agree? Or do you find nudity in fashion offensive/tacky?
