Avant Garde, Fashion, Shopping

This style is my current favorite (my own S/S 2013 collection would probably fit into that category) so here are some choice picks of beautiful garments on sale or (relatively)inexpensive.

Rick OwensMy first suggestion is to grab this Rick Owen skirt for $573 (Was $1,041). The skirt portion is a rayon/wool blend, made in Italy. I’m not a huge fan of the waistband honestly, but the drape is beautiful. As long as you don’t wear it with a crop top, you’re golden. View/buy it here.

Bottega Veneta

Next is this Bottega Veneta jacquard pencil skirt. It’s on sale for $739 (Was 1,750). Made in Italy, this skirt is  composed of Wool/viscose/polyamide/cupro. It’s like broken up pieces of television static. Very beautiful!  BUY BUY BUY. This is one of those pieces you want to pass down to a loved one some day (if you can stand to let it go). I’ve felt this in person and the piping is very sturdy.

Speaking of television static, here is a younger(possibly) and more affordable item… A poly/cotton blend T from ASOS. Granted, it isn’t on sale but for $43.98 it may just be in my closet in the near future.

Nasty Gal

I’m usually not a huge fan of Nasty Gal for various reasons. This look isn’t hemmed, so be careful. It would be pretty cool for layering all year round, and if you’re able to keep it in good condition it could be a staple piece. It’s polyester and $68. I mean, what do you want? Get it here.

This top is from TopShop and $64. It’s 100% viscose, & that’s great. The kimono like v-neck is extremely flattering on all body types and would make a great day-to-night piece. Great price, great materials, great style. Why don’t I have this yet?
